{"id":1241,"date":"2013-10-07T17:28:05","date_gmt":"2013-10-07T16:28:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/?p=1241"},"modified":"2013-10-07T17:28:05","modified_gmt":"2013-10-07T16:28:05","slug":"response-to-local-plan-proposals-for-building-off-wrexham-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/?p=1241","title":{"rendered":"Response to Local Plan Proposals for Building off  Wrexham Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As you will already know from our most recent newsletter, the council are proposing to build 1300 houses on the land behind Westminster Park up to the Chester Business Park \u2013 shown in the outlined red area of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/map.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1246\" alt=\"map\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/map-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>this map.<\/a> This proposal is part of the draft \u2018Cheshire West &amp; Chester Local Plan\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The draft plan, supporting documents and response form can be viewed on CWaC&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/consult.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk\/portal\/cwc_ldf\/cwc_lp\/lp_pd\/publication_draft?tab=files\">Local Plan Consultation Portal<\/a> , at CWaC offices and customer service centres (including HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester and The Forum Offices, Chester) and at any public library<\/p>\n<p>The Westminster Park Residents Association has compiled a response to the plan, which we think fails the test of &#8216;soundness&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Our response is attached here:<\/p>\n<iframe src=\"\/\/docs.google.com\/viewer?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wp-ra.org.uk%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F10%2FResponse-to-Local-Plan-DRAFT.doc&hl=en_US&embedded=true\" class=\"gde-frame\" style=\"width:100%;
