Re:\u00a0 Planning Application\u00a015\/00346\/FUL Sherbourne Avenue<\/p>\n
The above planning application has been submitted to build 41 new houses at the end of Sherbourne Avenue.<\/p>\n
We called in this application to be heard by the members of the Planning Committee rather than be determined under delegated powers by officers.<\/p>\n
There has been a great deal of concern expressed by residents who were worried it would set a precedent for piecemeal development of the land off Wrexham Road.<\/p>\n
We would like to inform you that today we have withdrawn our call in of this application because we have been informed that the planning application is to be refused as it is contrary to STRAT 3 of the new local plan.<\/p>\n
We are pleased with this course of action and we would like to thank residents for their input on this matter.<\/p>\n
