{"id":2256,"date":"2019-02-26T10:43:38","date_gmt":"2019-02-26T10:43:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/?p=2256"},"modified":"2019-02-26T10:43:45","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T10:43:45","slug":"volunteer-day-wednesday-13th-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/?p=2256","title":{"rendered":"VOLUNTEER DAY \u2013 WEDNESDAY 13TH MARCH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following on from the success of our January Volunteer Day,\nwe have arranged another get together for 13th March. &nbsp;The main focus of\nactivity will be to move the cuttings from the coppiced hedge next to the Glan\nAber tennis courts to a couple of locations: &nbsp;the new dog walking area and\nthe gaps in the hedge next to the pathway by the golf course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the following will be tackled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>clearance of the path edges from the car park to the cafe area<\/li><li>the  installation of footpath slabs or stones by the white gate on the pathway near to Glan Aber Tennis Club.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are able to\nvolunteer please could you advise us in advance. &nbsp;If you know of anyone\nelse who would like to help with this effort, please pass on this note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on that\nday. &nbsp;It will help to make our well appreciated open space even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve Telford,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chair, Friends of Westminster Park<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following on from the success of our January Volunteer Day, we have arranged another get together for 13th March. &nbsp;The main focus of activity will be to move the cuttings from the coppiced hedge next to the Glan Aber tennis &hellip;
