{"id":2916,"date":"2020-08-14T18:56:52","date_gmt":"2020-08-14T17:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/?p=2916"},"modified":"2020-08-14T18:56:52","modified_gmt":"2020-08-14T17:56:52","slug":"wpra-response-to-proposed-development-off-lache-lane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wp-ra.org.uk\/?p=2916","title":{"rendered":"WPRA response to proposed development off Lache Lane"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you to all of you who have copied me in to your responses to the Blueoak Estates consultation on plans to develop the pond and meadow between Lache Lane and Winkwell Drive.\u00a0 I have summarised your main points and questions in a collective response to the developers which is attached below.\u00a0 Apologies if it does not include all of the points that you have expressed.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly we are not in support of this proposal, but we\u00a0recognise that this is a desirable infill site to develop and that the demand for new housing is high.\u00a0 However, with many of our local meadows and ponds already facing destruction on Wrexham Road, we cannot support the loss of what will be our only\u00a0remaining\u00a0wildlife site, the &#8216;green lungs&#8217;
