Westminster Park Butcher in running for national award.

CHESTER butcher Stuart Bebbington hopes to give his rivals the chop after making the final of a national competition.

Having been based in Chester Market since 1993, Stuart decided to open his own shop in May and has already carved out an impressive reputation.

S.J. Bebbington Butchers of Chester, which is in Westminster Park, has been named one of the top three shops in the region in the Butcher’s Shop of the Year Awards 2012.

EVERGREEN TREASURE HUNT

‘EVERGREEN’

TREASURE HUNT

The Treasure Hunt will start from 5pm at the Red Lion pub in Northgate Street.  There are over 40 clues to be solved around the centre of Chester – no climbing of the walls etc involved.

Please come to the Red Lion to collect your clues from Tony Austin any time from 5pm onwards; there will be a nominal charge of £1.00 per person.

At the end, please return to the Red Lion for your sheet to be marked, the winner(s) to be judged and most especially for you to enjoy a refreshing drink.  There will be a prize for the winning team.  In the event of a tie, a series of tie break questions will be set.

Free parking is available after 3pm at the Market and Gorse Stacks car parks.  If you are able to care share, so much the better.

This is the first event of this kind to be organised by the Evergreen Club, so please do your best to come along and support us.
